Training Programmes

We offer a range of low-cost strength and conditioning training programmes for outdoor athletes of all disciplines, suitable for people of all levels and training experience, and ranging from 4 to 16 weeks long.

Programmes are delivered via our coaching app or via TrainingPeaks™, depending on your sport.

All programmes come with support materials to get you up and running quickly and easily, whether you’re a seasoned lifter or new to the gym.

Road and Gravel Riding

  • 4, 8 and 12 week plans to develop cycling-specific leg strength, torso stability and flexibility.

  • Suitable for road and gravel racers, time trialists, sportive/gran fondo riders, hill climbers and recreational riders.

    Suitable for all levels of rider, no prior lifting experience required.

  • Our approach is to develop significant and meaningful improvements in leg strength, while also focussing heavily on making your torso and upper body more stable. A stable torso gives you better power transfer through the pedals, better bike-handling and fewer aches and pains on the bike.

    Our training plans are progressive in load and exercise complexity and will develop the athleticism you need for many long and powerful hours in the saddle.

Mountain Biking

  • 4,  8 and 12 week plans to develop leg and upper body strength, and the power and stability for the dynamic demands of modern riding.

  • Suitable for XC, enduro, downhill, trail and freeride riders.

    Suitable for all levels of rider, no lifting experience required.

  • Mountain biking is an extremely dynamic sport requiring strength, power, agility, balance, stability and endurance.

    Our programmes build these properties along side each other, and progress load and exercise complexity over the weeks to keep things interesting and keep building your athleticism.
